Colored FFP2

If you are looking for an anvil mask that is not only beautiful to look at, but also protective and functional, and that is also environmentally conscious. But it is also excellent in terms of protection. This is because it is a mask with protection class KN95, which is the Chinese designation, which corresponds to the European protection class FFP2. While the filtering performance of these masks inwards and outwards is 92% and thus theoretically protects not only others, but also one’s own person, the surgical mask has a filter performance of 95% outwards and only 20% inwards, so it protects slightly better than the others, but very little the person wearing it. This mask is also available in different colors, which makes it combinable with your clothes – because unfortunately we will have to wear it for a while – and also easy to wash. It also has a side valve, which is designed to provide better breathability, especially in poorly ventilated areas or outdoors in general, as we are heading towards the summer heat, and such a feature should not be underestimated.

It remains to be found out whether the valve is protected by a filter or not: if not, it should be borne in mind that the protection at the outlet is practically non-existent, so in case of positivation others are not protected (which is why, for example.B. in a hospital, valve masks are allowed only for medical personnel and not for patients and nursing staff). It’s been practically a year since the pandemic, the mask requirement a little less, and the debate about what masks to use, how many, what brand, what to look out for, or how to wear them is still latent. Experts do not stop insisting whenever they are asked about the importance of the right application, because they are essential. Respirators protect against dust, smoke and (aerosol) mist, but not against steam or gas. The classification system is divided into three classes of half masks, with the abbreviation FFP standing for ” f iltering f ace p iece”. Respirators cover the nose and mouth. A respirator consists of various filter materials and the mask itself. Half masks are recommended in working environments where the occupational exposure limit value, i.e. the maximum permissible, non-harmful concentration of dusts, smoke and aerosols in the inhalation air, is exceeded. If exceeded, the use of respiratory protection is prescribed.

Properties of colored FFP2 masks

The protection classes FFP1, FFP2 and FFP3 offer respiratory protection against different pollutant concentrations depending on the total inhalation and filtration of particles up to 0.6 μm. The overall leakage to the inside results from the filter permeability and the mask leakage upon contact with the face and nose, which is largely prevented by the uvex respirator system, which is adapted as far as possible to the anatomical structure of these body parts. Thanks to the innovative filter technology, the airway resistance remains low and trapped particles do not hinder breathing even if the respirator is used repeatedly. Today, more and more people around the world are becoming aware of the benefits of surgical masks. When used correctly, surgical masks are an effective and cost-effective way to minimize one’s own risks and protect others from infection. We offer a wide range of surgical masks in our online store. We offer surgical masks for adults and surgical masks for children. In addition to the blue standard surgical masks, we also offer pink surgical masks, purple surgical masks and surgical masks in a variety of other colors. Soon we will introduce a new collection of surgical mask colors, which also includes black surgical masks.

Self-filtering protective and safety mask FFP2, available in a variety of colors. With double protection, both for the wearer and for the people around him. Five-layer design and heat-sealed finish, including matching elastic bands, adjustable noseband for tight fitting, and white skull regulator. Comes in a separate bag, with instructions for use in Spanish and English. According to European standards, these are filter masks with the common abbreviation FFP (Filtering Facepiece Particles). The mask wearer is protected against inhalation of droplets and particles distributed in the air. FFP2 masks must retain at least 94% of these particles. Masks should normally be changed every 4 hours. People like a variety of options and protective masks are of course no exception. Imagine how monotonous life would be if everyone only driven one type of car, weared the same glasses, had the same hair color, or weared the same clothes? The use value of face masks, i.e. protection against viruses, has also become commonplace. However, something is missing that distinguishes masks from other protective masks. The multi-colored FFP2 face masks, which include the colors red, blue, purple, green, pink and gray.

Quality colored FFP2

Regardless of the color, the masks are properly certified and do not differ in quality from white. They are produced in Europe according to good manufacturing practice and under strictly controlled conditions. Cloths, scarves and scarves certainly protect our respiratory tract, but until they are tested, we do not know how successful they are. In contrast, all respirators sold in the EU must comply with EN 149:2001 + A1:2009, which guarantees their filter performance. This is expressed as FFP1, FFP2 or FFP3, with FFP3 providing the highest level of protection. The FFP2 respirator protects against organic and inorganic particles (slightly toxic particles, mold, bacteria) and is recommended to protect against coronaviruses. FFP2 respirators capture at least 94% of particles with an average size of 0.6 μm. FFP2 respirators without an exhalation valve can be used by a COVID-19 positive person for business purposes or funerals. CN 95 or N95 respirators are often cited as an alternative to the FFP2 respirator, but have not passed the EU tests and cannot be considered equivalent to the FFP2 respirator.

The mask FFP2 KN95 is suitable for daily protection against PM2.5, small particles, droplets, epidemics such as coronaviruses. Used in everyday life, it has the highest protective effect against coronaviruses and can be used both in isolation areas and in other high-risk areas. It is the most suitable mask for maximum protection against coronaviruses. While these respirators no longer filter out the coronavirus itself (the size of the coronavirus is smaller than the cells of the filtering system), they reduce penetration by creating mechanical problems for particles on their way into the airways. And given that the coronavirus is mostly tied to particles that these respirators can easily retain and filter out, the chances of not getting infected are quite high. FFP1 lets more of them through, while FFP2 lets them through a little less. And if you have the choice between FFP1 and FFP2, then FFP2 is the best choice.
